Baked Brie Cheese
What is not to love about Baked Brie Cheese? The sky is the limit to toppings, but we love blueberry preserves, walnuts and honey. Melty, slightly salty brie goes deliciously with sweet blueberries. Added is the crunch from walnuts and the fruity, earthy taste of honey.
This baked brie goes gorgeously with our homemade Crostini Recipe.

No, the rind is perfectly edible and has a lovely, mild, earthy flavor that is just as delicious as the inner part of the cheese.

Baked Brie Ingredients

Recipe Ingredients
Brie cheese – You can get Brie in many different sizes, so it depends on how many you are serving to what size of wheel you will want to purchase.
Blueberry Preserves – Get a nice jar of preserves. If you don’t like blueberry, then try strawberry, raspberry, blackberry, fig or even apple jelly. For the holidays, cranberry sauce works great too.
Walnuts – Pair the amount of nuts to the size of the wheel, about 1/4 cup for a 16 oz. wheel, but you be the judge. You can also use pecans, hazelnuts, almonds, macadamia nuts and on and on.
Honey – So many honeys to choose from, and it all depends on what you are looking for. Try something different, maybe a floral note with blueberries, but if you pair up other jams, there are so many options. If you try a bacon jam or a fig jam, then a hot honey would be a delicious choice too.
How To Make Baked Brie

- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cut a parchment paper to fit under the brie cheese and leaving enough space around it for you to move the cheese once it is cooked.
- Unwrap the brie, place it on a parchment paper, and on the baking sheet. Do not cut or score the brie before baking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes if you have a 10-ounce wheel and 20-25 minutes if you have a 16-ounce wheel of Brie.
*NOTE* The brie is baked when the top is soft to the touch, but the cheese is not oozing out.
- Carefully take the brie off the cookie sheet and place it on a serving platter. I used a large spatula and carefully transferred the brie to the parchment paper on my platter.
- Add the blueberry preserves and walnuts.
- Drizzle the honey to your liking.
- Serve immediately.

Little Chef’s Secrets
For the ingredients, blueberry preserves, walnuts, and honey, the measurements are a guide. If you like a lot of preserves/jams, add more. Just keep in mind it may slide off the cheese. Adjust the walnuts and honey to your personal preference.
Serving suggestions: Crackers, fresh bread, fresh fruits like apples and or grapes, cured meat (salami, prosciutto,…), add a jar of honey (some people may want more), dried fruits or nuts.
Storage: The leftover brie will store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
